Musicadium

How does it all work?

In simple terms, an independent label or artist grants Musicadium the non-exclusive right to distribute their music to digital outlets around the world.

Digital distribution with Musicadium works like this...

  • You provide your CD, track titles, ISRC codes, UPC (bar codes), album artwork and artist /album bio to us If required, Musicadium can provide ISRC codes and UPC (bar codes)
  • We convert the album into a digital format required by the digital outlets
  • We transfer the digitised album and artwork, bios etc to the digital outlets you specify eg iTunes and emusic
  • The digital outlets place the album in their retail catalogue and make it available for customers to purchase
  • The digital outlets track how often your tracks/albums are purchased and on a monthly or quarterly basis, forward the sales royalty and sales report back to Musicadium
  • We collate all the royalties and information from each outlet and generate a sales report for each artist and label
  • Unlike other distributors, we deliver 100% of the royalties back to the label or artist

It's that simple!

How can it help me? Why would I use Musicadium?
