With a background in Music and Media, a diploma of music performance at the Southbank Institute of Technology in Brisbane and management experience with the National Institute of Youth Performing Arts Australia, Sarah chooses to surround herself with music. Her obsession with all things musical  harks back to the days when she both resembled and adored Kylie Minogue in her 80s heyday. She may or may not have had a matching Kylie fringe.

Trent Moody - Artist Liaison

Qualifications: Trent is currently studying a Bachelor of Entertainment Business Management at JMC Academy.

Trent is originally from the musically-starved Gold Coast, but don't hold that against him. His passion is live music, and wants to work in this arena - be it booking gigs, or managing festivals. With an eclectic and ever-changing taste in music, Trent likes anything from a track with a synthesized beat to a soulful melody.

Michelle O'Rance - Artist Liaison

Qualifications: Michelle is currently studying a Bachelor of Media and Communications, majoring in Journalism. She is a regular contributor to Faster Louder and reviews and interviews local, national and international bands as well as knocking up the odd feature article on all things music.

Michelle has always been interested in music, but due to an unfortunate lack of talent or the ability to play a musical instrument, she has since decided that working behind the scenes in the music industry was a much better plan.

Starting young by performing 90s pop songs into a hairbrush to her very patient parents, Michelle is now a self-confessed 'festival fiend' and crowd surfing, moshpits, punk, metal, indie and electronica are some of her favourite things.

Geoff Smith - Artist Liaison

Qualifications: Geoff is currently studying a Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Business and International Relations. He has a keen eye for local music talent and enjoys the occasional gig or two.
Coming from an incredibly small country town music has always been a must in his life as it is very effective at drowning out the sound of cattle. Geoff is no music snob and will listen to anything. However he is and always will be a ‘90’s boy, and grunge and rock will always be close to his heart (Although a good rave never goes astray).

James Black - Artist Liaison and UK Correspondent

Qualifications: Advanced VCE (Double) in Media and Communications, BA (hons) Media and Communication: Music Industries Specialist

James currently work as an assistant promoter for Plug After Hours Club in Birmingham, England. He's also a Dubstep DJ, co-owner of Andromeda Records, record collector and music enthusiast. Music is his life!

We're very excited to be working with James as he spreads the Musicadium love across the globe.

Elyse Kelly - Artist Liaison

Qualifications: Elyse is about to start her third year of study at QUT, doing a bachelor of business with majors in marketing and public relations.

Elyse loves all things music - and has taken a particular liking to the songwriting greats such as Mr Bob Dylan himself, and of course, the Beatles.

Current fave tunes include Angus and Julia Stone, Josh Pyke, and all things acoustic and lyrical.

Julia Bridger - Artist Liaison

Qualifications: Currently studying her final year of a Bachelor of Business Management/Arts in Music, Marketing and Media Studies at the University of QLD.

Julia loves to immerse herself in music of many different genres- any given evening you may find her at a dingy pub watching a rock band, watching Sunday afternoon jazz in the park or seeing an opera at the theatre. She hopes to run a venue one day soon where she can watch all of these different kinds of performances every day of the week for free. She also aspires to learn to play her ukelele, speak fluent French and cartwheel without looking like an idiot; goals which are less likely to be achieved.

Ash Roulston - Artist Liaison

Qualifications: Currently studying a Bachelor of Entertainment Business (Management) at JMC Academy.

Ashley grew up listening to punk music but has taken to many other genres since moving to Brisbane in 2007. Most of all, she likes music that tears your face off, puts it back on again and gives you a hug. Ash may seem a little quiet at first, but tends to be a bit of a motor-mouth when it comes to things she's passionate about.

Tiffany Madsen - Artist Liaison

Qualifications: Currently studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing and Public Relations at the QLD University of Technology.

Tiffany's life is pretty much summed up by CSS's "Music is my hot hot sex". It's what she's passionate about, can't get enough of, and to quote that sexcellent song again, "from all the jobs the one she chooses is music".

Cassandra Tilse - Promotions

Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts (Humanities), Masters in Humanities

Cassie loves rocking out to live music and can be seen at 3am in Rick's Cafe, Australia encouraging the bands and DJ's requesting encores. Cassandra is a hardcore Whitlam's fan.
